Regenerative Cellular Tissue
If you are living with pain, you could greatly benefit from the healing properties of regenerative cellular tissue, also known as stem cells. As professionals in the field of regenerative medicine, we can tell you that pain shouldn’t be something you live with, and safe, natural treatments are available.
We use proven regenerative therapies, including stem cell treatments, to help your body naturally heal itself and reduce inflammation, improve mobility, and alleviate pain.
What Are Stem Cells?
Stem cells are found in every tissue in the body. There are different types of stem cells, including embryonic stem cells, adipose stem cells, bone marrow stem cells, and mesenchymal stem cells, to name a few.
The reason researchers are so interested in stem cells for medical treatment is that they can not only regenerate but also adapt to the area of the body where they are introduced. They can be “harvested” from any area of the body and reintroduced into other areas that are injured and damaged. Stem cells’ ability to adapt and replicate gives them natural restorative properties.
Types of Stem Cells
Typical stem cell therapy uses the patient as the “donor” for their own stem cells. Although all stem cells have the same abilities, not all of them are suitable for pain management and healing. So, there can be some challenges if the right type of stem cell is not used in your treatment.
- Bone marrow: These cells are usually harvested from the patient. This approach requires you to undergo a procedure in which a small hole is drilled in your hip or femur to extract the bone marrow. The procedure is not only painful but can also lead to infection. The stem cells harvested might prove ineffective, especially in older patients whose stem cells are no longer able to effectively restore and heal as healthier young cells would.
- Adipose tissue: These cells are taken from the fat in your body, using a process much like liposuction. This is not only unpleasant but can also remove aged or toxic cells that can cause more harm than good.
- Embryonic stem cells: These cells are the most controversial as they are derived from fertilized eggs in a lab. Not only are there ethical challenges with this procedure but also possible risk factors associated with the immature cells that might cause teratoma tumors.
- Mesenchymal stem cells: These cells are derived from umbilical allografts. The tissue is harmlessly donated during cesarean delivery, safely removing the required cells without interfering with the birth. This is the only type of stem cells used in our regenerative cellular treatments. The cells have renewal properties, without a risk of infection or requiring painful harvesting procedures for you or the donor.
When mesenchymal stem cells are injected into painful or injured areas of your body, they provide a boost to your natural healing process. Once your natural healing process begins, you are able to regenerate cells to repair wear and tear and restore healthy tissue. We believe in providing results through all-natural healing that is immediate and long-lasting.
