Dr. Tim Osbon
A Sandlapper from Day One, Dr. Osbon was born in the upstate of South Carolina and was fortunate to grow up at the foot of the mountains in Greenville County, enjoying an idyllic childhood exploring the creeks, mountains, and forests that blanket our state. He attended Blue Ridge High School and then matriculated at Wofford College and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He found himself in the ROTC program after attending Airborne School at Fort Benning, Georgia and became a paratrooper. For the next four years, he was on active duty and was stationed as a Medical Service Corps officer at the military medical school in Bethesda, Maryland. Finding that he had time and restless intellectual energy, he enrolled in the graduate program at The Johns Hopkins University and received a Master’s degree in biotechnology and genetics in 1998. He realized that he should either pursue a Ph.D. in genetics or apply to medical school, ultimately chose the latter, and enrolled at the Medical University of South Carolina. He chose emergency medicine as his specialty and went on to train in residency at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia.
Dr. Osbon founded Oasis Hyperbarics in 2007 and opened a hyperbaric oxygen facility in early 2008 and merged with East Cooper Medical Center two years later to bring into one place everything we would need for state-of-the-art wound care. Now, as the Comprehensive Wound Center, it is a thriving practice that provides world-class wound care to the great people of Mount Pleasant. He continues to practice emergency medicine at Summerville and Trident Medical Centers.
In early 2016, he joined forces with Dr. Todd Brown, as he launched Elite Healthcare Physical Medicine in Mount Pleasant, SC. He is in charge of directing and overseeing our patient’s medical care with the collaboration of our wonderful and very experienced Nurse Practitioner Traci Kennedy.
Dr. Osbon feels immensely blessed to live in the Low Country where he and his family enjoy the maritime traditions of sailing, fishing, and shrimping that characterize this beautiful part of the planet as well as the rich cultural and historical resources for which Charleston is known.

Dr. Rebecca Patrick is originally from the small town of Port Republic, New Jersey. She grew up enjoying activities such as fishing, hiking, chasing the sunset, and surfing. She loves anything outdoors, being surrounded by God’s nature, and traveling to new places with her husband, Daniel. Dr. Rebecca realized in high school that she was passionate about caring for others as she grew up with health issues. After consistently getting adjusted by her family chiropractor, she noticed she was not getting sick as often as she used to. That is when she and her husband, Daniel Patrick, decided to apply to Life University together.
Rebecca has a focus in pediatrics and pregnancies but loves to take care of people all ages! In her time out of the office, you can find Rebecca gardening, crocheting, and playing with her 2 cats, Luna and Moosh. “I am grateful and excited to be a part of the team at Elite Healthcare Physical Medicine and to help others achieve their health goals!”

Daniel was regularly adjusted from his chiropractor back in New Jersey in order to stay healthy—that’s how he came to realize that a healthy nervous system is vital in order to keep up with an active lifestyle. Daniel married his wife Rebecca in 2019 right before entering chiropractic school at Life University. When asked about the 3 most important things in Dr. Daniel’s life, his reply is “God, my wife, and caring for people through the power of chiropractic–in that order”. Dr. Daniel is eager to care for our community
